In keeping with Eater tradition, this year’s round-off is a survey of friends, industry types, and bloggers. Starting in Carolina, Eater asked the group his eight questions. Q. What restaurant or restaurant-related debut are you most looking forward to in 2023?

I can’t wait to see what the Michael Mina Group does with Sorrelle, an all-day Italian store (88 Broad Street, Charleston). With multiple bars, markets and pizza counters in addition to the grand dining room serving traditional Italian cuisine, there’s no reason not to love his two-story restaurant.
